Insecure mode on Minecraft server's enables users with "less than legitimate" versions of Minecraft to connect to your server. It does this by disabling the requirement for the server to validate account data with Mojang before allowing the user to connect to a server.
Your Minecraft server comes with a range of different Java versions. Some versions of Minecraft (and modpacks) require a specific Java version; if this is the case your server will be pre-loaded with the correct version by default. You can optionally change the Java version on your server.
Click settings in the server navigation bar. Click world on the left menu. The available worlds on your Minecraft server will be listed at the top. Click the world you would like to play. Click save and restart your server.
